# Add an AI Video Agent to Google Meet

> Add a Beyond Presence agent with a lifelike avatar to any Google Meet call.

Add a Beyond Presence [Managed Agent](/learn/glossary#managed-agent) to your Google Meet call in a few clicks.
The agent, a [Conversational Video Agent (CVA)](/learn/glossary#conversational-video-agent-cva), joins the Google Meet call as a participant and shows its [avatar](/concepts/avatars) as its camera feed.
Everyone in the meeting can have a real-time, face-to-face conversation with the agent by voice.

## Use cases for an AI agent in Google Meet

## Requirements

* A Beyond Presence account on a paid plan
* An agent in the [Studio](https://bey.studio), with a [Stock Avatar](/concepts/avatars/stock) or your own [Custom Avatar](/concepts/avatars/custom)
* An ongoing Google Meet call and its meeting link

## Google Meet meeting URL

Use the link of an ongoing Google Meet call, for example `https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij`.
The Studio accepts links on `meet.google.com`.

## How to add an AI agent to a Google Meet call

  <Step title="Start or join the Google Meet call">
    The meeting must already be running. In Google Meet, click **Meeting details** and copy the joining info link.

  <Step title="Open the agent in the Studio">
    In the [Studio](https://bey.studio), open the agent you want to send and click **Send To External Meeting**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure the agent">
    * **Meeting URL**: Paste the Google Meet link.
    * **Bot Name** (optional): The display name of the agent in Google Meet. Defaults to the agent name.
    * **Group Call**: Turn on to make the agent respond only when called by its activation keywords. See [Group calls](/integrations/meetings#group-calls).

    Click **Send Agent**. The agent joins as a guest from outside your organization, so someone in the call usually has to click **Admit** when it asks to join.

    No. The agent joins with the meeting link, like any other participant. You send it from the Studio.

    No. The meeting must already be running when you click **Send Agent**.

  <Accordion title="Does the agent read the Google Meet chat?">
    No. The agent only listens to audio. It does not read or reply to messages in the Google Meet chat.
